A level-up training lecture was held for the volunteer teachers of AIRA Japanese Classes.(No.19-9)
The NAU students visited Namiki elementary school and took part in classroom activities including school -lunch and cleaning.
This year is the fifth times of “the Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Japan Program”. The NAU’s Japanese instructor, Mary Adachi has brought her 15 students to Abiko. The group visited the Mayor and Sugimura Sojinkan Memorial House and Museum. (No.19-6)
Due to the revision of the Immigration Control Law (Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act), which was implemented on April 1, foreigners visiting Japan are expected to grow.
