"We are deeply grateful to you for the monetary support, of which we have made the most with much appreciation. In order to convey your kindness, I visited on June 5 a school in Anbarangoda, southern part of the country, where still remain big scratches of furious flood attacks. Through exchanging views with the school teachers, I became sure that a set of school uniform was most welcome for each pupil. Then, I presented note books, pencils and textiles for school uniforms respectively for 720 refugee pupils. I am enclosing herewith a name list and photos of pupils for your reference. I would appreciate it very much that you would convey our sincere thanks to all concerned in your city."
Thus, a courteous letter and some photos have been duly delivered to Japan.
These items have made us more courageous in continuing the campaign.
On behalf of the concerning people in Sri Lanka, we sincerely thank to those who have offered donation.
